DeBoer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Erin DeBoer<\/strong> is an appellate attorney with a keen eye for researching novel legal issues and writing appellate briefs. Erin enjoys partnering with trial attorneys during the appellate process by overseeing procedural requirements, handling appellate brief writing, and conducting oral arguments. She primarily focuses her practice on civil appeals and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Court of Appeals of Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>After graduating summa cum laude from Regent University School of Law, Erin served two years as a law clerk to the Hon. S. Bernard Goodwyn in the Supreme Court of Virginia. She then joined the faculty of Regent University School of Law, where she taught Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing as a full-time faculty member. Erin later worked several years as a legal consultant for a local law firm before returning to the Supreme Court of Virginia to serve two more years as a law clerk. Erin entered private practice as a civil litigator and appellate attorney in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Erin enjoys writing and, as a law student, won the first Leroy R. Hassell, Sr. Writing Competition. She presently serves as an adjunct professor at Regent University School of Law, teaching Appellate Advocacy.
